LaPointe will face charges including three counts of third-degree burglary, sixth-degree larceny, fifth-degree larceny, third-degree larceny and conspiracy charges on all counts.
The arrest stems from an investigation that was initiated when LaPointe and a second man, Daniel Brewster, were found in possession of several items that had been stolen from cars along Allen Avenue on July 8. Police said both men could face additional charges in the case.
